Introducing Basic, Team, and Enterprise
Alongside the move to volume-based billing, Spider’s licensing has moved from a single flat commercial offer to three tiers, each unlocking a clear set of capabilities on top of the last.
BASIC - free, self-hosted
BASIC is free and self-hosted, capped at 250 GB with 7-day retention. It’s the full core experience: HTTP, TCP, PostgreSQL and Redis decode, the complete analysis and reporting UI, sensitive-data filtering, and self-registration with API, CLI, Claude and service-account access. It’s meant for individuals and community use, and for trying Spider properly before committing to a paid tier.
TEAM - for a working team, volume-priced
TEAM adds what a team actually needs day to day: TLS decryption and key capture (Gocipher), gRPC and Kafka decode, binary transcoding, the Config Playground and applicative-cluster analysis, per-agent Custom Data Storage Policies, one team with user RBAC, alerting over mail and Prometheus, internal link and dashboard sharing, keyed PCAP-NG export, plugins, and S3 backup. TEAM starts from €1,000/year.
ENTERPRISE - multi-team and admin-ready
ENTERPRISE builds on TEAM with everything a larger organisation needs to run Spider centrally: multi-team and multi-tenant support, SSO via OIDC or LDAP, user administration and impersonation, external public links, access-filter authoring, and a usage-statistics dashboard. ENTERPRISE starts from €3,000/year.
The full feature-by-feature comparison - every row, across all three tiers - is on the Pricing page, along with the pool estimator to see what your own volume would cost on TEAM or ENTERPRISE.
