A fresh look - new floocus.com and a new app.floocus.com

I’ve just wrapped up a full rebuild of Floocus’s web presence. Same product, same company, but everything you touch on the way in - the marketing site, the login screen, the account and usage pages - has been redone.

A new marketing site

floocus.com, floocus.fr and floocus.io are now served from a brand new site, built with Astro and a proper shared design system instead of the old docs-tool template. Home, Product, Pricing, Company and this News section all got rewritten, not just re-skinned - Pricing in particular now reflects how Spider is actually licensed and billed today (more on that in the next two posts).

A new Portal

The bigger change is behind the “Login” link. app.floocus.com is a new Portal - registration, password and single-sign-on login, password reset, and account/organisation management, all in one app with a proper session model. It replaces two separate legacy apps (Login and Usage) that had grown organically over the years.

users.floocus.com now redirects straight into the new Portal, so old bookmarks and password-reset emails still work. The one piece not yet folded in is the Usage dashboard itself - that’s next on the list.

Under the hood

Both sites draw from the same design tokens package, so the visual language - colours, type, spacing - stays consistent whether you’re reading a blog post or managing your licence. The old Website/floocus-docs site, which served floocus.com until this rebuild, has been retired.

More product-facing changes are landing alongside this refresh - see the next couple of posts for what changed in billing and licensing.

Cheers, Thibaut
